Physical Therapy
Assisting children with their physical functioning
What is Pediatric Physical Therapy (PT)?
Pediatric physical therapy focuses on assisting children who have a disability or health issue that may limit their physical functioning. These challenges can affect a child’s ability to move, play and function in their daily lives. During physical therapy sessions, we work one-on-one with the child and family to develop an individualized program which includes a variety of fun, play-based exercises and activities to improve their gross motor function and to promote active participation at home, in school, and in the community.
